Dave Hewett
Owner, CP, BOCPO
Dave enjoys assisting people on their journey to independence and overcoming their challenges in life. This passion carries over to the day-to-day operations of the practice and the growth of the business. He is always forward thinking and focusing on the best way to care for patients, staff and the business as a whole. The most rewarding part of his job is seeing people renew their quality of life. When you see someone get up and walk for the first time after a traumatic incident is so rewarding. Dave really enjoys getting to know each and every patient and many of his patients have become good friends. Dave has been a certified Prosthetist and Orthotist for over 24 years. He has a very diverse background with complicated cases from his time working for Shriner’s Hospital for Children in Springfield prior to opening Adaptive Prosthetics & Orthotics in 1997. He has traveled to Haiti, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic to help children with limb loss in mission clinics. Dave is specialized in both upper and lower limb prosthetics. Previous to being in the medical industry, Dave was an aircraft mechanic. He feels his mechanical background really helps him when working with prosthetics.Dave is an avid skier who loves spending the winter months on the slopes with his boys when they are not playing lacrosse. He also enjoys volunteering for Skiers Unlimited teaching disabled children to ski.

Troy Fink
CPO
Troy is the manager of the Pittsfield, MA office. He has been serving the population of Berkshire County since 2008, and has been working in the Orthotic and Prosthetic field since 1992. A graduate of Texas A&M University, Troy has earned post-graduate certificates in Orthotics and Prosthetics from Cal State University (Rancho Los Amigos) and University of Connecticut (Newington Program), respectively. Troy lives with his wife and son in Latham, NY. When not working, he enjoys camping, hiking, kayaking, skiing and making furniture in his woodshop.

Brittany Boscarino
MSPO, CPO
Brittany is an ABC certified prosthetist/orthotist. She completed her masters of science degree in prosthetics and orthotics at the University of Hartford, where she was elected as the 2019 recipient of the Regents’ Honor Award for Graduate Students and 2018 recipient of the Allyn L. Golub Orthotics & Prosthetics Research Assistant Scholarship. As a graduate student Brittany completed research on measuring functional variables of K2 unilateral transtibial amputees utilizing K3 prosthetic feet and presented the findings at a national and regional American Academy of Orthotics and Prosthetics meeting. She also served as a reviewer for the American Academy of Orthotics and Prosthetics Outcomes Research Committee during her time at the University of Hartford.
Kim Vigliotte
CPed, CFm, Certified Compression Fitter
Kim is a board certified pedorthist and mastectomy fitter, she has 25 years of experience in patient care with a focus in compression garments and post-mastectomy fittings. She resides in northeast Connecticut where she spends her free time with her three children and dog Kiwi.
John Skudlarek

John is a Certified Orthotic Fitter through the BOC. Also, he has been a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for 11 years with extensive orthotic and adaptive wheelchair experience in the sub acute nursing environment. John lives with his wife and son and enjoys running, music and science fiction movies.

She completed her masters of science degree in prosthetics and orthotics at the University of Hartford and a BS in Health Sciences from the University Of Cincinnati. She is from Ohio and enjoys spending time with her Nephew and Nieces.

Business Manager/Owner
As the Business Manager and owner, Lisa aims to take the already successful Adaptive Prosthetics & Orthotics to the next level. Lisa graduated from Drexel University with a BS in Business Administration in both Marketing and International Business. Previous to working with her husband to grow this business, she worked in sales and marketing. She was a market manager for a large national distributor of medical supplies where she oversaw the sales growth, direct marketing, inside and outside sales team and training. On her time away from the office she enjoys watching her sons playing lacrosse, traveling and spending quality time with friends and family.

Administrative Specialist – Norwich & Waterford Offices
Amy is our administrative assistant in our Norwich and Waterford branches. She has worked in orthotics and prosthetics for over four years and has an extensive background in the medical insurance field. With a BA in Theatre from Roger Williams University, Amy has a life-long love of the arts and will take every opportunity to hop the train to NYC to see a Broadway show and has even visited Vienna, Austria just to see a painting. She spends as much time as she can with her niece and nephews and likes to cross stitch in the evening to relax and be creative.

Susan is no stranger to the Prosthetics and Orthotics field, having 12 years of experience in it. She loves to spend time with her family in her spare time. She also likes to quilt and bake, always sharing her sweet creations with everyone at the office.

Administrative Specialist – Glastonbury Office
Donna’s experience includes coding, billing and business administration for over 18 years in the dental field. Donna utilizes her experience to maintain the accounts receivable and payable for the office while providing administrative support to our practitioners and staff members. Donna is an integral part of our prosthetic care, gathering the required information for insurance approval and compliance. On her time off Donna enjoys baking, antiquing and home improvement projects.

Born and raised in Pittsfield. Went to Berkshire Community College and Bryant College. Enjoys: Cookouts, NASCAR (Kyle Busch favorite driver), M-M's is her favorite candy and going to the oceans in Florida. When gathering with friends and Family in the summer, she is the one to always make S'Mores.

Tricia comes to us with years of medical administration knowledge in a variety of backgrounds from a hospital emergency room to doctor offices.Tricia has years of experience communicating with insurance companies and customer service which is an asset to our accounts receivable department. Tricia is married and has two grown daughters. In her downtime from work she enjoys sewing, home decorating and spending time with family and friends.

Concetta’s experience includes over 20 years as a Paralegal and uses her skills to ensure compliance with industry specifications, standards, regulations and laws. She assists with developing and implementing compliance programs and performing regulatory risk management. Concetta loves spending her free time with her family and friends.

Sharon is our Administrative Assistant who works in our Glastonbury office. She has over 9 years in the medical field working in Dermatology and Pediatrics. She is the proud mother of two boys and enjoys playing music during her free time.

With years of experience in the medical field. Jessica is married and has a daughter and a step son. During her free time she enjoys taking day trips to different places and spending time with her family and friends.
